Consumer Protection Education and Research Centre once again was successful in helping out an instant justice to our registered consumer who was very upset with his brand new Nokia lumia 710 mobile phone. Our Mumbai based member had purchased a Nokia lumia 710 mobile phone from local shop. After the short time this new mobile was not working properly and had complaints for incoming call, device also created some critical problem. Our consumer reached to the local shop where he bought this mobile phone and asked them for replacement, but shop keeper as well as Nokia customer care denied for replacement and only asked to repair that phone. Mr. Vikas Yadav was very upset and after all he came to us and appealed for help to resolve his problem. CPERC has taken over this case and as it was a violation of Consumer Protection Act,1986, we put up this case in legal way against Nokia .Within short time on behalf of Nokia Customer Care, the Maharashtra, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh head of the department Bijal Patwa intervened in this case and took decision to give a new hand set of Nokia lumia 710 to our consumer. Now our consumer is happy and conveyed his thanks to CPERC and Nokia too.
