Consumer Protection Education and Research Centre once again was successful in helping out an instant justice to our registered consumer who was very upset with the service of Ease My Trip. Our Hyderabad based member had cancelled his ticket on EasemyTrip.in through customer care and they told our registered member that he will get refund within 3 working days but our registered member was not given his refund back within the period of time which Ease My Trip had promised. Our registered member even dropped a mail for his concern but whenever our registered member call them either they said his request will be processed in another 3 days or they used to put his call on hold. There was no accountability and credibility for our registered member’s query. Mr Amit Doda was very upset and after all he came to us and appealed for help to resolve his problem. CPERC has taken over this case and as it was a violation of Consumer Protection Act, 1986, we put up this case in legal way against Ease My Trip. Within a few hours on behalf of Ease My Trip Customer Care, Mr Varun Singhal intervened in this case and credited the refund amount to our consumer’s account. Now our consumer is happy and conveyed his thanks to CPERC and Ease My Trip too.
